Terms of Use

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Maestria ("we", "us") is a mobile application for Digital SAT Reading & Writing preparation, for iOS and Android. These terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of the app and this website. They also serve as the app's end user licence agreement: we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Maestria on devices you own or control, for your own study.

By downloading or using Maestria, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. Questions any time: support@maestriaprep.com.

2. Who can use Maestria

Maestria is built for high-school students preparing for the Digital SAT. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian before you use the app, and before you buy anything in it. If you are a parent or guardian and your child uses Maestria, you accept these terms on their behalf and you are responsible for any purchases made on your account.

Maestria is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly accept accounts from them. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

You do not need an account to take the free full-length diagnostic. You do need one to subscribe, because your account is what carries your purchase and your progress across devices — if you reinstall the app or move to a new phone, signing in restores both.

Keep your password to yourself and keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and tell us at support@maestriaprep.com.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Maestria Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription in three plans:

These are the United States prices. Your local price is set by the App Store or Google Play for your region and may differ, including taxes. The exact price and period are always shown to you in the app before you confirm.

Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. We never see or handle your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your subscription renews for the same period at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal charge is taken within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

How to cancel

Cancelling happens in your store account settings, not inside the Maestria app. We cannot cancel a subscription for you — the store holds the billing relationship, and we have no way to stop a renewal from our side.

• iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Maestria → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Maestria → Cancel subscription.

When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

5. Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for a store purchase directly.

• Apple: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Google: request a refund at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.

If something went wrong on our side, write to support@maestriaprep.com and we will help you get the request to the right place and support it.

Consumer law where you live may give you further rights — for example a right to withdraw from a purchase within a set period under EU consumer law, or under Turkish consumer legislation. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

6. What Premium unlocks, and what stays free

Free, with no subscription and no payment details:

• The full-length diagnostic test.
• The Easy tier of every one of the twelve question-type modules.
• The Foundation tier of the vocabulary bank.

Premium adds the Medium and Hard tiers of every module, the full-length practice tests, the other three adaptive tests, the AI tutor and weekly recap, the complete study plan, and the Core and Advanced vocabulary tiers.

We may add, change, or retire features over time as the app improves and as the exam changes. If we remove something significant from Premium during a period you have paid for, we will tell you in the app.

7. Acceptable use

Your subscription is for you. Please do not:

• Share your account, your password, or your Premium access with anyone else.
• Copy, scrape, export, republish, or resell our questions, passages, explanations, or any other part of the app.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to extract content from the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Interfere with the app's operation, or try to reach parts of our systems you were not given access to.

8. Our content

Every practice question in Maestria is written by us. No question is reproduced from a real SAT or from any other publisher's material. Reading passages are either written by us or drawn from works in the public domain.

All of it — questions, passages, explanations, the study plan logic, the design and the Maestria name and logo — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use it to study. You may not reproduce it, distribute it, or sell it.

9. The AI tutor

The AI tutor's explanations are generated by a large language model. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, even when they sound confident. Treat the tutor as a study aid, not as authoritative instruction, and check anything that matters against your own reasoning, your teacher, or official College Board material.

10. No score guarantee

Maestria does not guarantee any score, any score improvement, or any admission outcome. Projected scores, estimated section scores, and readiness indicators in the app are estimates based on your answers inside Maestria. They are there to guide your studying. They are not predictions of your real test result.

11. Trademarks

SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board. Maestria is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the College Board; the mark is used descriptively to say which exam the app prepares for.

Apple and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.

12. Ending your use of Maestria

You can stop at any time. Delete your account from Delete Account in the app, or follow the steps at maestriaprep.com/delete/. Remember to cancel an active subscription separately in your store account settings — deleting your account does not cancel it.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms — for example by sharing your account or redistributing our questions. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

13. Liability, and changes to these terms

Maestria is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of mistakes in its content.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

We may update these terms — for example when we change plans, add features, or when the law changes. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Maestria after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of the right to bring a claim there.
